When is the Talbiyah discontinued during Umrah?
In the worship of Umrah, Talbiyah ends as soon as one begins the Tawaf of the Kaaba al-Muazzama.
Is it mandatory to recite a specific prayer during Tawaf?
No, it is not mandatory to recite specific prayers during Tawaf; you can engage in tasbih, takbir, tahlil, and all the prayers you know. After the Tawaf prayer, one can pray for all kinds of worldly and otherworldly needs as they come from the heart.
Which dhikr are recited while performing Sa’y?
It is recommended (mustahabb) to recite takbir, tahlil, salawat, and personal prayers during Sa’y. According to the Hanafi school of thought, performing the Umrah Sa’y is wajib; if it is abandoned without a valid excuse, a penalty sacrifice (dam) is required.
When does tahallul (exiting Ihram) occur in Umrah?
In Umrah, tahallul occurs after the worship of Sa’y by shaving or shortening the hair, and thus one exits the state of Ihram.
Can a menstruating woman perform Umrah?
A woman in her special period can fulfill all other requirements of Umrah except for Tawaf. After becoming clean, she completes her Umrah by performing the Tawaf.
