Wajib Qurban Preparations Completed

Wajib Qurban
Preparations Completed

As İLA Association, we have ensured the Islamic and medical inspections of our sacrificial animals. We followed the procurement processes. As a result of consultations with local authorities, we identified families in need. During the days of Eid, we will carry out the distribution in a controlled manner. In addition, by means of the qurbans that are sacrificed, we will cover the one-year meat needs of the students who are memorising the Quran here. We extend our deepest thanks to everyone who has contributed on their behalf. We wish you a blessed Eid.

Planning Process

Wajib Qurban

As Eid al-Adha approaches, our excitement and our preparations are growing. This year too, we have completed the planning process to fulfil our wajib qurban in the finest way.

While planning, alongside adhering to religious rules, we also take into account matters such as hygiene, animal welfare and environmental sensitivity.

As we prepare for Eid al-Adha, we will also include the sharing of qurban meat in our plans so as not to forget those in need and to deliver meat to them as well.

Animal Procurement and Inspections

Procuring healthy animals raised in accordance with religious rules and respect for the animal is one of the most important elements of our act of sacrifice. For this reason, we selected our sacrificial animals with great care.

By ensuring that the animals we selected are inspected by official veterinarians, we make certain of their compliance with health and hygiene rules. We also safeguard the welfare of the animals during their transport and waiting periods, taking the necessary measures to ensure they are not subjected to stress.

Processing and Distribution of the Meat

After the qurban is sacrificed, processing the meat in a hygienic environment and in the proper manner is of great importance. To this end, we have established cooperation with facilities that have the equipment and tools required for processing the meat.

We set up a planned distribution system to deliver the processed meat to those in need as quickly and as healthily as possible. By working in coordination with aid organisations and neighbourhood headmen, we ensure that the meat is distributed fairly and with priority given to those in need.

The aid given during Eid al-Adha is not merely material aid; it also brings with it a spiritual solidarity. Sharing qurban meat brings the joy of helping people and making them happy. This feeling also contributes to the development of feelings of love, respect and compassion within society.

In conclusion, the aid given during Eid al-Adha, beyond fulfilling a religious obligation, is an important duty that keeps alive the spirit of mutual help and solidarity within society, helps those in need, develops feelings of love, respect and compassion, contributes to the prevention of hunger and poverty, and serves as a bridge between people of different income groups and social statuses within society.

Hadith

“When you have sacrificed your qurban, set down the knife in your hand. Then pray two rakʿahs. Whichever of the Muslims prays these two rakʿahs and then asks Allah, Exalted is He, for something, Allah, Exalted is He, will surely grant that person what he asked for.”
