EVENTS FROM ILA

As ILA Association, we organize humanitarian aid-oriented events in regions such as Asia, Africa, and South America, and cultural and education-oriented events in Europe and Turkey.

SURINAME IFTAR PROGRAM

Throughout the month of Ramadan, iftar was provided in the indigenous villages of Suriname. In addition, social assistance such as food, clothing, and education aid was provided to indigenous orphans in the orphanage established in the capital, Paramaribo. The beauty of Islam and cooperation was demonstrated to the local people.

SURINAME QURBAN ORGANIZATION

During Eid al-Adha, the people in need in Suriname were not left alone; qurbans were performed and food aid was provided. The locals had a beautiful holiday with the gifts they received.

FRANCE CULTURE FESTIVAL

Our association was promoted at the FestCulture event held in Lyon, and the aid organizations we organized were explained to people. On this occasion, an international identity was gained.

ARAKAN FOOD AID

Due to the internal conflict, ethnic cleansing, and poverty in Myanmar, Muslims living in the Arakan region of the country faced a great humanitarian tragedy. Food aid and rehabilitation activities for children were organized for the local people who are struggling with problems of shelter, hunger, and thirst, and are facing the danger of epidemic diseases.

PALU EARTHQUAKE RELIEF

After the 7.4 magnitude earthquake and subsequent tsunami disaster on Indonesia’s Sulawesi Island, our association immediately rushed to help and provided food, clothing, and basic needs support to the earthquake victims.

JAKARTA CIRCUMCISION ORGANIZATION

In Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, circumcision, one of the most important and healthy values of Islam, was revived. Circumcision operations performed with unhygienic methods can cause health problems for children and pose serious risks to their lives. In this organization where the public received free services, Muslims in Jakarta were circumcised through the work of our medical team.

CAMBODIA IFTAR PROGRAM

Throughout the month of Ramadan-i Sharif, iftar tables were set up in the needy villages of Phnom Penh, once called the Pearl of Asia. We were guests at the tables of lonely indigenous people who were left alone in practicing Islam because the majority of the population is Buddhist.

INDONESIA QURBAN ORGANIZATION

A qurban organization was organized in Indonesia, the country with the largest Muslim population in the world, to provide halal and hygienic food to our Muslim brothers and sisters. While the local people expressed their satisfaction, they did not withhold their prayers.

PHILIPPINES CIRCUMCISION ORGANIZATION

The Philippines is one of the countries with the highest rate of circumcision revival. In Mindanao, which still remains Muslim after geographical discoveries, Muslim children were circumcised hygienically and free of charge. Precautions were taken against ailments that could occur after operations performed with low hygiene and unconsciously. The joy of reviving a sunnah (circumcision) in the end times could be read from the faces of the families.
